Honestly my main motivation of starting this, is the realisation that AI have progressed far beyond just gimmick.
I remember back in 2022 was it or 2023, that "ChatGPT moment" - my good friend in HK was chatting with me about it and how I can use AI to code. I tried for real - and it was a lot of effort.
Dec 2025 I finally 'gave it another chance' and touched on things a little and WOW. Lo and behold, its only 2 -3 years time : an ultra eventful 2-3 years for me I must add, and the entire game changed. I get notification on X on how people are having groundbreaking things on Claude.
My mind was literally blown off at how much progress was actually made - I still remember few months ago many questioned about how "no one is seeing the ROI on all the huge AI investments". I tried some and the AI gave fair suggestion and answer and quickly. Well.... I didnt have a huge chunk of focus time, but I asked AI to plan things, to summarize my code, etc and it all did quite fairly with exception of occasional errors which defies logic - I guess thats the main giveaway that its not reasoning via logic but using pattern matching.
Still. with the speed it does things, its not one to be ignored.
I have no idea if I am really excited or really fearful. Maybe more excitement for now due to potential to push things forward in ways never before. Regardless, its not something we can ignore due to fear.
